Bite Me Coffee was founded by Karin Wright and built alongside Katelyn Mendigorin, two Asian American dog trainers who carved out careers in a male dominated working dog and K9 industry.

For years, we trained and sold police dogs, built programs, traveled, problem solved, and did the kind of hands on work that demands everything you have. We know the kennels. We know the long days. We know what it takes to put a solid dog on the street.

Life shifts. Seasons change.

Now, as mothers raising young kids, we wanted a way to stay connected to the community that helped shape us, without needing to be in the field every day. Bite Me is that next chapter. A way to support working K9 programs consistently, practically, and long-term.

Every bag is roasted fresh and hand packed in the Pacific Northwest by Tall Fir Coffee, owned by retired law enforcement officer Scott Haley. It’s a partnership built on shared experience.

We’ve done the work. We respect the dogs. And we believe good coffee can help carry it forward.
